The Duke and Duchess will be putting the focus back on East Africa on November 2nd with a visit to the Emergency Supply Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Clarence House released the statement: “The Duke and Duchess have been deeply moved over the past few weeks by the desperate plight of hundreds of thousands of seriously ill children in East Africa, a part of the world they know well and which is dear to them”.
This will be the couple second official visit aboard following their very successful North American Tour in July. They will be joined by Crowned Prince Frederick and Princess Mary of Denmark.

“Over 320,000 children are so severely malnourished that they are at imminent risk of starving to death without urgent help.
UNICEF’s Supply Centre has a warehouse the size of three football pitches. It sources, packs and distributes essential supplies for children around the globe, including food, water, special nutritional supplies for the most malnourished children, vaccines and emergency medical kits” states the official UNICEF website”.
