After making their tennis debut at Wimbledon this year, The Duke and Duchess have been approached by The Queen’s Club in West London to become honourary members.

According to The Daily Mail, the honorary membership – which they have accepted – is worth close to £14,000 each.

The current patron of the Club is the 65-years-old Duchess of Gloucester, and once she steps down the rumour is they are very keen to appoint ‘Sporty’ Kate as the new patron of the 125 years old Club.

‘The board have made Kate an honorary member and they would like her to be an ambassador for the club,’ says a source.

If you wanted to join The Queen’s Club, you’re looking at a cost of £1,775 to join and as a new members you are required to buy a redeemable £12,000 share in the club
