The Telegraph is reporting that Kate Middleton is considering become a National Patron for the Arts, as “part of her of her new future role in public life”.

Kate is considering supporting “a number of national arts institutions, thought to include The Tate, the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery and the V&A”.

Over the next few months, The Duchess will be meeting with numerous curators and directors and various galleries and museums.

“The Duchess is expected to become the official patron of several national museums and galleries and may also act as an ‘ambassador’ for institutions that have existing Royal links, such as the V&A where Princess Alexandra is a patron” reports The Telegraph.
